Price Planter

The short version

Price Planter is a price comparison tool. You don't need an account to use it, and we don't sell your details to anyone.

Most of what you type — your materials list, your postcode, your saved quotes — stays on your own phone or computer.

What stays on your device

Your materials list, delivery postcode, trade or retail choice, saved quotes, recently added items and your high-visibility setting are stored in your browser so the site remembers them next time.

You can wipe all of it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Price Planter.

What we send away from your device

When you use a photo or ask us to tidy your rough notes, the photo or text is sent to our AI service to match it to items in our materials list. It is used for that match only and is not used to train anyone's models.

When you ask for weather for a postcode, that postcode is sent to a weather service.

When you email or WhatsApp a quote, it goes through your own email or WhatsApp app — we don't see the message.

Cookies and counting

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count simple things — pages viewed, comparisons run, quotes downloaded — so we can see what people find useful. Those counts are not linked to your name.

If you sign in

Signing in is only for site admins. If you create an account we keep your email address so you can sign in, and nothing more.

Prices are estimates

Every figure on the site is an indicative sample price based on published merchant rates, not a live feed and not a quote. Always confirm with the branch before ordering.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@priceplanter.com. We'll reply within one working day.
